What is Part D?

Part D or Prescription Drug Plans are plans that coverage for prescription medications. It is a component of Medicare program, designed to assist Medicare beneficiaries, in managing the costs associated with their prescription drugs

How to get Part D coverage?

Beneficiaries can enroll in a Part D plan either as a standalone policy to complement their Original Medicare coverage, or as part of a Medicare Advantage plan that combines hospital, medical, and prescription drug coverage. These plans are provided by private insurance companies approved by Medicare and vary in terms of the specific medications covered, associated costs, and participating pharmacies.
